One feed, one item, one return
Pinglo made reporting a lost or found item calm and private: post the essentials, match carefully, confirm the return.
The latest Pinglo turns finding into something everyone can help with. Leave a sighting on any report and the owner hears about it instantly. Step into a full community — feed, chat, and people — for your campus, venue, or workplace. And every claim still starts with one private detail only the real owner could know. All wrapped in a fresh new look with full dark mode.
Free update for everyone. Already have Pinglo? It’s waiting in the App Store.
Pinglo began as a calm way for one person to report one lost item. Then communities gave whole places a feed of their own. Version 1.3 goes further: it lets anyone who spots your item help, and turns each community into a real space with its own chat and verified members.
Pinglo made reporting a lost or found item calm and private: post the essentials, match carefully, confirm the return.
Campuses, venues, and workplaces got a private feed — lost & found alongside safety alerts and hand-in points.
Leave a sighting to ping an owner instantly, chat inside full communities, and prove a claim with one private detail.
You don’t have to hand something in to help. Leave a public “I saw this” note on any report — where you spotted it, when, anything useful — and the person who lost it gets notified in the app the moment you post. Every passer-by becomes a possible finder.
The rebuilt Report flow puts one thing first: a private detail only the real owner would know — the crack in the corner, the last four digits on the card inside. If a claim can’t match it, nothing else happens. Then category is a tap on a redesigned grid, and date & time are picked, not typed.
Every community gets its own Feed, Chat, and People tabs. Members who’ve confirmed who they are carry a verified star, admin messages are clearly marked so you know who’s official, and members can now message each other directly — with request-to-chat keeping it consensual.
A refreshed icon, a top-to-bottom redesign, and a proper dark theme — plus a floating tab bar that gets out of the way while you scroll.
Your points balance ticks up as it updates and syncs the instant you sign in. Still earn-only — helping out earns points you redeem for badges.
Signing back in no longer makes you redo your profile, edits stop reverting when you’re offline, and there are dozens of smaller fixes.
Hotels, universities, stations, venues — a community gives your members a feed, a chat, and a safe way to reach each other, and gives your team fewer repetitive enquiries. We’ll set the poster and community up with you.
Update now, open the Communities tab, and see what your place is finding.
