Is Pinglo free?
Yes. Pinglo is free on iPhone and in any browser at pingloapp.com/app. Universities can also run a free four-week pilot of a private campus feed.
How do I get my thing back safely?
Whoever claims an item answers a detail only the owner would know, and a finder’s photo stays hidden until they do. You chat privately, then meet somewhere public, like a library desk or the security office. More in our safety guidance.
How does Pinglo use my location?
Only while you’re using the app, to show reports near you. Other people never see your location, and a report shows only its general area, about a kilometre across. If you’d rather not share it, the feed shows reports from everywhere. More in our privacy policy.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. Pinglo works in any browser on Android at pingloapp.com/app, with the same account as the iPhone app.
Can my university use Pinglo?
Yes. Start a free four-week pilot on the Universities page. Your community goes live as soon as you submit the form, with a PIN and print-ready QR posters.
